Prescription Lenses FAQ
Many customers ask us whether they can add prescription lenses to Bestia frames, and the answer is yes!
On this page, you can find answers to 8 frequently asked questions (FAQ) we receive about prescription lenses.
1. Is my prescription suitable?
We recommend the following prescription ranges for the Bestia Drive:
- Standard Fit (Base Curve 8): -2.00 ≥ SPH + CYL ≤ +2.00
- Asian Fit (Base Curve 6): -3.00 ≥ SPH + CYL ≤ +3.00
Because Bestia Drive lenses are curved, you may experience distortion around the edges if your prescription exceeds our recommended range.
Asian Fit lenses (BC 6) are less curved than Standard Fit ones (BC 8) and can therefore accommodate higher prescriptions.
In late 2026, we will be launching a new, 'flatter' frame that can accommodate very high prescriptions: -8.00 ≥ SPH + CYL ≤ +8.00.

2. What lenses do you use?
We use shatterproof polycarbonate lenses for both our non-prescription lenses and prescription lenses.
3. What is the refund policy for prescription lenses?
If you wish to return your prescription order for a refund, our 30-day return policy applies, and you will receive a refund on the frames but not on the prescription lenses as they are made-to-order.
If you believe that our prescription lenses do not match the prescription you provided us, we will remake them for you for free if we find any discrepancy.
4. How long do prescription lenses take to make?
Prescription lenses take 14-21 business days (excluding weekends) to process.
As soon as we receive your prescription lenses from our partner optical lab, we will perform our quality control process and send them to you.
6. How much do prescription lenses cost, and how do I order them?
You can browse our lens prices and order prescription lenses directly on our website!
Visit our product page, click the 'Select Lenses' button, choose 'Single Vision Prescription' and follow the steps to see your prescription lens options.
7. Can you make progressive multifocal lenses?
Yes, we can!

8. Can I order frames first and prescription lenses later?
Yes, in fact we recommend it! You can order a non-prescription pair of Bestia Drive safety glasses first to decide whether you like the fit.
If you'd like to proceed with prescription, you can order lenses here, and we will ship them to you separately.
Once you receive your prescription lenses, you can add them to your Bestia frames following these steps.
